Coach Carr is a teacher, trainer, philosopher, and positive-attitude-generator who is dedicated to helping his clients design, engineer, and experience the life they most want to live. Coach Carr pochodzi z Kalifornii, a obecnie mieszka w Zielonej Górze.
In the Polish language, "Zielona Góra" means "Green Mountain", and it is a beautiful little city in western Poland near Germany. Coach Carr has decided to make "ZG" his part-time residence for the next few years while working on his plans for developing American Football in Europe, but will also frequent his home in Portland, Oregon. He loves teaching math, English, guitar, and most of all - American Football.
He also enjoys snow skiing, aviation, and swing dancing. He would say that he loves animals and is both a cat person and a dog person.
Coach Carr has spent most his entire life on the West Coast of the USA, but now enjoys living in the European Union because life as a stranger in a strange land is always fascinating. He has worked many jobs outside of education and used to spend a lot of his teaching time in Oregon and California classrooms, but nowadays he runs an education business primarily out of his home in central Europe. He thinks it's weird writing about himself in the third person, but figured that the format of this website demanded it.
Charles Carr was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. But as soon as he became a teenager his family moved north and he found himself attending high school in the city of Portland. This move to Oregon changed his life in profound ways and got him into competitive athletics. The teams on which he played had great teammates and great coaches, allowing him to thrive as a student-athlete in the Pacific Northwest. Interscholastic sports competition caused him to lose a lot of time building up his comic book collection, but with sports dominating his schedule, he won a lot of tournament awards and championships in his athletic career.
C. Carr played college football while studying mathematics, physics, philosophy, and history at a liberal arts university in the Pacific Northwest. He graduated as a math major and after working education and technology jobs all over California, Oregon, and Washington, he set his sights overseas. Five years ago he began traveling to cities in almost every time zone across Europe and Asia to teach the teamwork (and share the culture) of American Football. Now that he lives part-time in Poland, Coach Carr is learning to speak the local language and teaching English helps him improve his Polish. He keeps busy developing digital products for his online education business and works out of his home office near beautiful Park Piastowski in Zielona Góra.
