I am a native English speaker from England. I come from a small town called Warwick right in the centre of England, famed for its medieavl castle. Since starting to teach English I have taught adults and children in my native England, in Moscow, Taiwan where I lived for two years, and have also taught extensively online. I enjoy various pastimes such as playing both classical and electric guitar, reading and writing and am currently attempting to write a fantasy work. I have also recently become interested in medieval and Icelandic literature.

I have an Open Degree which is a degree unique to the UK's Open University which enables students to explore various fields at increasingly challenging levels. I took courses ranging from astronomy to classical Greek to philosophy. Since then I have successfully completed a Master's Degree in English.

I like to teach through discussion by focusing on a subject matter the student finds interesting and incorporate language points as we go using a blend of the so called the communicative and audio-lingual approaches.
