Why is confidence so important?

Because you can't do anything well if you don't have the confidence to do it!

Time and time again I've met Polish people who know the vocabulary, correct pronunciation and sometimes even the grammatical rules of the English language. However, when it comes to having a conversation they are lost for words or they can't string together sentences in a smooth, flowing manner.

Why? Because they are scared of being misunderstood or sounding silly. And why do they have these fears? Because they don't have confidence in their own abilities!
