My name is Maximillian. I was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. In 2008 I moved to Warsaw, Poland with my parents.
I have since completed my middle- and high-school education at the American School of Warsaw where I graduated with a diploma from the International Baccalaureate program.
Currently I am in the 5th year of medicine at the Medical University of Warsaw, where I am studying in the English Division.
My entire life I have been surrounded by an international community, which has exposed me to multiple cultures and allowed me to meet many interesting people. As a result, I am always happy to meet new people and I am willing to learn new things, as well as teaching others.
I am very fond of sports and outdoor activities. Even though I am from Australia, I love snow sports, specifically snowboarding. I try to make an effort to go to the mountains every year.
I also have a 10-year history of competitive fencing, in which I have won the title of state champion for my age-group.
I am no stranger to languages. I speak English fluently as a native speaker and I have studied higher-level English language and literature as part of my international baccalaureate diploma.
I am able to have a conversation in Polish (but I admit, it is a difficult language!).
I have also previously studied German and I am now currently learning Norwegian.
I hope I haven't bored you with my details, and I am looking forward to meeting new people and helping you learn English!
