My name is Megan, and I'm an English teacher based in Kraków. I was born in St. Cloud, Minnesota (USA), and I studied at St. Olaf College for my Bachelor's degree: I majored in Philosophy with a concentration in Biomedical Studies.
In 2013, I moved to Poland to pursue a master's degree in Philosophy at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) and received my MA in 2015. While I am not teaching English, I'm involved with local theater groups, singing, and working on my own philosophy projects.
I have been living in Poland for over four years (since Sept. 2013). Fortunately, I've had several meaningful opportunities to learn about Polish culture. I hope to continue my experience with the Polish people by offering my expertise in the English language to those who wish to learn :)

Interests, Hobbies, & Other Info:
First and foremost, I love to sing. For two years, I sang with the internationally recognized St. Olaf Choir as a second soprano touring both the East and West coast of the US and, in the summer of 2013, three weeks in Norway. Occasionally, I've had opportunities to sing here in Poland (e.g. at some weddings and charity events). I've also played the violin for over eight years.
Other than music, I enjoy drawing, playing tennis, and reading thought-provoking texts. My current mission is to improve my Polish :)
