Hi I'm Monika and I'm currently studying medicine in English at Wroclaw Medical University in Wroclaw. I'm currently in my sixth year of studies, so I've been living here for just under 6 years now. I'm from Chicago, Illinois, USA, but was actually born in Wroclaw, however I moved when I was three years old. I do speak Polish as well, however English is my primary language, so don't worry if you can't remember a certain word.

For lessons, I ask the students what they would like to focus on. I like to run lessons in a conversation like way- picking a topic or two per lesson that is decided beforehand. I find that many of my students just lack the confidence to speak due to a lack of use of the language, and once they are more comfortable, they show huge improvement. Of course, I am available for learning through books or any other tools you would like to use as well.
