Hi! I'm Morgan. I'm an expat English teacher from America. I've been traveling and teaching students from around the world now for a decade. I've lived and taught in Korea and China, and now I've relocated to Krakow, Poland.
I knew I wanted to be a teacher in university, when I tutored other uni students in English, helped with essays, and volunteered after school to help kids with their homework. I applied to teach overseas and landed a job in a small Korean village. Outside of my school's window was miles of rice fields, fog, and beautiful white cranes.
Then I moved to the city where I taught at a social program. We taught classes for preschool, Kindergarten, day camps, summer camps, and kids all through middle school. We also helped Korean traditional market vendors-- grandmothers-- who wanted to sell their wares to American tourists, and we taught adult Koreans who wanted to make themselves more marketable by taking English exams.
Most recently, I worked at Shanghai High School International, a prestigious international high school. The school was established in 1865, making it older than my home state of West Virginia! There, I received the greatest education of my life, teaching literature and language to students who would go to some of the greatest universities the world over.
Please don't hesitate to contact me! I'd be delighted to talk to you :)
