For the last 10 years I have been teaching ESL to students from all ages and levels. The last 4 years I've focused a lot on teaching online for a professional company, as well as taking on private students. I try to give my students a comfortable setting to practice speaking in English from a variety of topics. Before teaching English, I had a career in the financial industry, so I am comfortable talking about economy and business. Also, I have a degree in Anthropology and I find cultural topics to also be interesting. My goal is to find something to interest the student while at the same time improving their English. I'm not afraid to correct my students and I will even make reports after the lessons to give my students a more detailed look at their English. My online lessons have been with and without video. This is the preference of the student, of course, but without video can give an extra incentive for improving your listening skills.
