I am a 28-year old English teacher originally from Dublin, Ireland. I am based in the wonderful city of Wroclaw and on the lookout for Polish natives to help with their English.

I have a background in visual arts and am interested in all things creative and cultural . Not too long ago I made the decision to pursue English teaching as a more serious career and obtained a Pass A CELTA in May 2021. Upon moving to Poland I have begun working on language immersion camps for youths as well as adults. As such, I am familiar with the individual needs of learners from different backgrounds and the different areas which students would like their lessons to be focused on.

At the moment, I am looking for private adult students. I teach in a few specialised areas:

CAE Exam Preparation : For students hoping to take the Cambridge Advanced English (C1) exam. I teach a textbook-based course that gives attention to all four papers in this exam (Reading/Use of English, Writing, Listening and Speaking) and the necessary skills to master each one. These will of course be very focused lessons with emphasis on completing relevant tasks and developing grammar sufficient to reach C1 level.

Business English: I teach various groups and 1-to-1 students in-company, primarily in the fields of IT and eCommerce. I work with a variety of interesting materials designed to get students talking about their industry and pick up useful vocabulary.

As well as I am also happy to conduct more general, conversation-centred lessons.

I have a preference for online teaching but face-to-face meetings may be negotiated.
