What this service is

NativeSpeaker is an online marketplace that connects native-speaking language teachers with students. Students browse and search teacher profiles by language, city and availability, and contact teachers directly through the site. Teachers publish a profile advertising their lessons. All services are supplied electronically through this website; we do not provide the lessons themselves — teaching is arranged directly between the student and the teacher.

For students — free

Searching for teachers, viewing profiles and contacting teachers through the site is completely free. No account is required to search.

For teachers — paid listing options

Publishing a basic profile is free. Teachers who want more visibility can buy one of the paid options below. These are the only paid services we sell.

Prices exclude VAT, which is added at checkout where applicable.

Billing terms

• All purchases are one-off payments for a fixed period. Nothing renews automatically and no recurring charge is taken — when the period ends, your listing simply reverts to the free tier.
• Prices are shown excluding VAT. Any VAT due is calculated and shown at checkout based on your country, and appears on your invoice. Business customers in the EU can enter a valid VAT number at checkout.
• A VAT invoice is issued for every purchase and is available from your dashboard.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Cancellation and refunds

Paid listings are digital services that begin immediately on purchase, at your request. Consumers in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal, which is lost once a digital service has been fully performed with your prior consent. If something goes wrong, contact us — we will look at any refund request fairly and in line with applicable law.
